IMAGINE AFRICA is a campaign organised by the Strømme Foundation in Norway in partnership with the Goree Institute located on Goree Island in Dakar, Senegal. The campaign is based on the ARTerial Network. The aim is to constitute a global initiative for promoting and strengthening African arts and reasoning.
Fund:
The Imagine Africa Fund will contribute to the communication of African Arts, expressions of reasoning and creative industries. The fund will furthermore initiate and promote contemporary artistic productivity.

The Goree Institute was launched in 1992 by Senegal's Former President Abdou Diouf, as one of the consequences of the so-called "Dakar Meeting" between exiled ANC leaders and predominantly Afrikaans-speaking professionals from South Africa. An independent, Pan-African, Public Interest Organisation (PIO), the Goree Institute is a facilitative organisation which builds alliances around the objectives of promoting electoral reform, peace building, community development and cultural development in Africa: certain projects have a continental, regional or country specific focus. Strømme Foundation is a non-governmental organisation who is based on Christian stewardship.
